Synersight, a company specializing in industrial automation solutions and mobile robotics, participated on Thursday, November 7th, in the prestigious AER Summit (Spanish Association of Robotics and Automation), held at the University of Vigo. This event has established itself as a key reference for the automation and robotics industry in Spain, fostering collaboration among the sector’s key players and promoting innovation and technological development.
The inauguration was attended by prominent figures from the University and the Administration: Ana Mejías, representing the Vigo City Council; Manuel Joaquín Reigosa, Rector of the University of Vigo; and David Regades, Special Delegate of the Vigo Free Trade Zone Consortium, among others.
Throughout the event, panel discussions addressed critical topics for the sector, such as “Improving the Competitiveness of the Galician Industry Through Impact Innovation”, featuring speakers like Mar Masulli, CEO of BitMetrics; Patricia Moreira, President of CEAGA; Consuelo Domínguez from GKN Driveline Vigo; Josefina Alonso from DIHGIGAL; and Ana Paul from CTAG, responsible for the Galicia Automotive Cluster. Another key topic was “Technology and Humanism: The Challenge of the New Era,” with insights from Javier G. Recuenco, Engineer and Founder of Singular Solving; Jordi Vallverdú, PhD in Philosophy; and Aureli Vázquez, Journalist and Co-Founder of Beat Content. These panels provided strategic insights into the industry’s future and highlighted the importance of cooperation for competitiveness and technological integration.
The event also offered an excellent opportunity to connect with emerging talent through presentations of innovative projects by student groups. This initiative enabled attendees to gain fresh ideas and build connections within the industrial ecosystem.
Additionally, Synersight is proud to highlight the prominent role of Miriam Pérez, its Marketing Manager and Communications Director, during the event as the leader of AER Automation’s Equality Commission. Miriam Pérez presented the vision and objectives of this commission, reaffirming Synersight’s commitment to gender equity in a traditionally male-dominated sector. Her presentation emphasized the importance of promoting inclusive policies that foster greater diversity and the participation of women in the industry.
“It is an honor for Synersight to participate in events like the AER Summit, which allows us to gain firsthand insights into our sector and the latest developments, while also advocating for a more equal and diverse industry,” said Miriam Pérez. “Our commitment to equality not only strengthens our company but also the industry as a whole.”
